An Introduction

Paradeep Phosphates Ltd. (PPL) is an enterprise of the K.K.Birla and OCP (Morocco) Groups and is a complex fertilizer unit. It is engaged in the production of the phosphoric fertilizers such as DAP/NPK. For the financial year 2005-06, PPL had registered phenomenal growth by registering record production as well as sales. As a gesture of appreciation, the company decided to conduct an event for the entire marketing team from all the regions.


The event

The event basically consisted of 2 days conference for the marketing unit. The schedule also included entertainment evening and awards night to highlight the remarkable feat of the employees. This provided us an opportunity to showcase our services and efforts as we had different genres of activity to be conducted at the same time. The venue decided for the conference was Sayaji Mahal and for the delegates, 100 rooms were booked in the same hotel. This provides us a picture about the grand scale that the event was organized upon.

Our Responsibilities

As the event managers, our tasks incorporated -
- the arrival and departure arrangements of the delegates.
- the conveyance facility for the entire event.
- the hospitality provisions of the delegates.
- the venue arrangements.
- the printing of the stationary for the event.
- the conceptualization and execution of the entertainment evening and award night.
- coordination with all the vendors.


Conference

The conference was attended by over 150 delegates from all over India. The managing committee expressed their views and had extended discussions regarding the future plans and policies of the organization.

Entertainment Evening

After the first session of the corporate program, we had planned out a Rural Theme Party for our esteemed guests as we wanted to make their trip a memorable one in every possible way. The entire d�or was done up in an ethnic way and the entertainment part comprised of the renowned folk dances of Madhya Pradesh.



Awards' Night

These activities have been planned with the sole intention of being able to highlight and discuss the psychology of a child.
Renowned child specialists and psychologists address the parents on the various matters related to the upbringing of the children. This further enables the parents to come up with their views and problems that they face in their day to day life.
The best suitable venue for this is schools or rather any educational premise.



Special Award

This four day event witnessed rains, bright sunlight, chilly winds and warm springs. Paradeep Phosphates Ltd. presented its delegates with an experience that will be cherished for the lifetime. PPL presented Fusion Events Pvt. Ltd. a special award for the successful execution and professionalized working towards this event.
